  • 2 slices Bread Your choice of bread
  • 1 cup Cooked Chicken Shredded or diced
  • 1 ripe Avocado Mashed for spreading
  • 1/2 cup Cheese Cheddar or your choice
  • 1 tablespoon Mayonnaise
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
For Assembly
  • butter as needed Butter For grilling the sandwich

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, mashed avocado, mayonnaise, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread the mixture on one slice of bread, top with cheese, and cover with the other slice.
  4. Butter the outside of the sandwich and place on a heated baking sheet.
  5. Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes until golden and the cheese is melted.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool for 10 minutes before cutting.
