Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Start by trimming any excess fat from the chicken and cutting it into bite-sized pieces for faster cooking. Arrange the pieces in the bottom of your slow cooker, ensuring they are spread out evenly.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and grated ginger until well blended. Pour the sauce over the chicken, ensuring all pieces are coated.
  3. Layer your chopped bell peppers and broccoli on top of the coated chicken. Cover the slow cooker with its lid.
  4. Set your slow cooker to low and let the dish simmer for 4 to 6 hours, or on high for 2 to 3 hours, until the chicken reaches at least 165°F (75°C).
  5. If you prefer a thicker sauce, remove the chicken and vegetables and simmer the sauce in a saucepan until reduced. Return the chicken and veggies to the crockpot.
