Step-by-Step Instructions for Garlic Mushrooms
  1. In a medium skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of plant-based butter or regular butter over medium heat. Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and a pinch of red pepper flakes, stirring gently for about 1 minute.
  2. Add 1 pound of crimini or baby bella mushrooms to the skillet, stirring to coat in the mixture. Sauté for 7-10 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Pour in ¼ cup of white wine to deglaze the skillet. Simmer until reduced by half, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add 4 finely chopped garlic cloves and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Sprinkle in ½ teaspoon of salt, along with 2 tablespoons each of chopped fresh basil and parsley. Stir to combine and remove from heat.
