For the Glaze
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter Melted before mixing.
  • 2 tablespoons honey Maple syrup can be used as an alternative.
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard Yellow mustard works well for a milder flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Fresh garlic can be substituted for a stronger flavor.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into individual triangles.
  3. Place a slice of deli ham at the wide end of each triangle and top with half a slice of Swiss cheese.
  4. Roll each triangle tightly from the wide end towards the point and place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  5. In a bowl, whisk together melted butter, honey, Dijon mustard, and garlic powder until smooth.
  6. Brush the honey mustard glaze generously over each rolled crescent.
  7. Bake for 12-14 minutes until golden brown and puffy.
  8. Allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
