Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a small bowl, mix together 1/4 cup of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of brown sugar, and 1 teaspoon of sesame oil. Whisk until the sugar dissolves completely.
  2. In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil over medium-high heat. Add 1 pound of ground beef and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently, until browned.
  3. Pour the prepared sauce over the cooked beef in the skillet, stir well, and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  4. In a separate pan, add a splash of oil and sauté broccoli florets and sliced carrots over medium heat for 3-5 minutes.
  5. Place a generous portion of cooked rice in a bowl, spoon the beef mixture over it, and add the sautéed veggies.
