  • 1 tsp Sriracha optional
For the Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Rice Vinegar can use lemon juice as a replacement
  • 2 tbsp Water to thin the sauce
  • 1 tsp Toasted Sesame Oil omit if unavailable
For the Bowl
  • 2 cups Cooked Rice jasmine, short-grain, or brown rice
  • 1 cup Shredded Carrots bell peppers work well as a substitute
  • 1 cup Cucumber thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup Kimchi optional
  • 1 tsp Toasted Sesame Seeds for a finishing touch
  • 1 egg Fried or Soft-Boiled Egg optional, can skip or substitute with tofu

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cook 2 cups of rice according to the package instructions.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the sauce ingredients until smooth.

  4. Add ground beef, breaking it apart and cooking until no longer pink.
  5. Pour sauce over the beef, stirring to coat and simmering for a few minutes.
