- Heat a large skillet over high heat until hot. Season steak with salt and pepper. Sear for 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Remove from skillet and let rest for 5 minutes.
- In the same skillet over medium heat, add oil if necessary, then sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant and golden brown.
- Pour in bourbon and scrape up browned bits. Simmer for about 1 minute to reduce slightly.
- Lower heat to medium-low, stir in heavy cream, beef broth, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer until thickened for about 2 minutes. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Slice the rested steak against the grain. Drizzle bourbon garlic cream sauce over the steak and serve immediately.
