Cooking Instructions
  1. Heat a large skillet over high heat until hot. Season steak with salt and pepper. Sear for 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Remove from skillet and let rest for 5 minutes.
  2. In the same skillet over medium heat, add oil if necessary, then sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant and golden brown.
  3. Pour in bourbon and scrape up browned bits. Simmer for about 1 minute to reduce slightly.
  4. Lower heat to medium-low, stir in heavy cream, beef broth, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer until thickened for about 2 minutes. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
