- Preheat your oven to 500°F (260°C) with a pizza stone or baking sheet inside for 30 minutes.
- Dust your work surface with flour or cornmeal and roll out your pizza dough to a 12-inch round.
- Transfer the rolled dough to a pizza peel dusted with cornmeal, then spread tomato sauce over the dough.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce, then add pepperoni slices and dollop ricotta around the pizza.
- Slide the pizza onto the preheated stone or baking sheet and bake for 8–12 minutes.
- Once baked, drizzle the pizza with hot honey and garnish with fresh basil and red pepper flakes if desired.
- Slice and serve hot.
