Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium pot, combine 4 cups of water with 4 black tea bags, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1 star anise, 3 whole cardamom pods, and 1 cinnamon stick. Heat the mixture over medium heat, allowing it to simmer for 3 to 5 minutes until fragrant and dark.
  2. Once brewed, remove from heat and strain the tea mixture into a large heatproof pitcher, discarding solids.
  3. Fill two tall glasses with ice and pour the hot brewed tea over the ice, observing the beautiful ombré effect.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together ¼ cup of sweetened condensed milk and ¼ cup of evaporated milk until fully combined. This mixture adds creamy sweetness to the traditional tea.
  5. Gently pour the milk mixture over the iced tea in each glass, creating a swirl of colors.
