Ingredients
  

Alfredo Sauce
  • 1 cup Heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup Chicken broth or vegetable broth for a lighter option
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced fresh garlic
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning fresh herbs can also be used
  • 1/2 cup Freshly grated Parmesan cheese pre-grated may not melt smoothly
  • 2 tbsp All-purpose flour or cornstarch as a gluten-free substitute
  • 1/2 cup Water to create a slurry
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper adjust to taste
Pita Bases
  • 4 pieces Flatbreads or Pita Breads
  • 2 cups Cooked chicken leftover roasted chicken works well
Toppings
  • 1/2 cup Sun-dried tomatoes can substitute with roasted red peppers
  • 2 cups Baby spinach leaves, torn arugula can replace it
  • 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella cheese feel free to experiment

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) or air fryer to the same temperature.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine the heavy whipping cream, chicken broth, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, grated Parmesan cheese, and black pepper. Stir continuously for 5 minutes until smooth.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour and water to create a slurry. Whisk into the bubbling sauce and stir until thickened for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Spread 3 tablespoons of the creamy Alfredo sauce over each pita bread, then layer with cooked chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, torn spinach, and top with shredded mozzarella.
  5. If using an oven, place pizzas on a greased baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes. For the air fryer, cook one pizza at a time for 5-6 minutes.
  6. Let cool slightly before slicing and serve warm with any leftover Alfredo sauce.

Notes
