Baking Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, cream the softened unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
- Mix in the eggs and vanilla extract until well incorporated and smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt then gradually mix this into the wet batter until no dry spots remain.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and M&M candies until evenly distributed.
- Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are golden and centers are soft. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for about 5 minutes.
- Transfer the cookies to wire racks to cool completely.
